Visual identity, voice, and brand standards for Ireland's independent craft brewery.
Kildare Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery rooted in Sallins, Co. Kildare. We brew unfiltered, unpasteurised beer with character and integrity. No corporate fluff, no gimmicks — just honest beer brewed by people who give a damn.
Every beer is brewed on-site at Lock 13 Brewpub. Not contract-brewed, not mass-produced. Real craft from a real brewery.
Named after local landmarks: Chapel Lane, Soldiers Island, Railway Heist. We wear our Kildare roots in every pour.
We don't overcomplicate beer. We brew it right, price it fairly, and deliver it ourselves. Straightforward.
The KBC palette is dark, warm, and premium. Black grounds the brand while gold signals craft quality. Use these colours consistently across all touchpoints.
KBC talks like a brewer, not a brand manager. Direct, warm, knowledgeable about beer, proud of Kildare. Never corporate, never pretentious, never trying too hard to be cool.

KBC photography is dark, warm, and authentic. Show the brewery, the taps, the pints, the people. Nothing staged or stock-photo. This is a working brewery — let it look like one.
Dark backgrounds preferred. Show the beer's colour — amber, golden, hazy. Condensation on glass is good. Natural light or warm artificial. Can and keg shots on dark wood or slate.
Behind the scenes: fermentation tanks, grain sacks, the mash tun. The bar at Lock 13, kegs being loaded into the van. Show the work that goes into every pint.
Pints being poured, friends at the bar, beer and food pairings. Warm, social, inviting. The kind of photo that makes you want to order one.
No bright white backgrounds. No stock photography. No AI-generated images. No "lifestyle" shots that could be any beer. If it doesn't feel like Kildare, don't use it.
"Kildare Brewing Co." wordmark in Oswald Bold on dark backgrounds. Gold (#C49A3C) or white text. Minimum clear space equal to the cap height of "K" on all sides.
Use the dark (#0A0A0A) version of the wordmark. Ensure sufficient contrast. Avoid placing on busy photography without an overlay.
Print: 25mm wide minimum. Digital: 140px wide minimum. Below these sizes, the wordmark loses legibility.
Never distort, rotate, or add effects. Never change the gold to another colour. Never place on a background that reduces readability. Keep it clean.
